'Creatives' Lauren Socha

This is BAFTA winning actor Lauren Socha most famous for her role as Kelly in Misfits and her amazing performance in Samantha Morton's 'The Unloved'.

We shot these in Derby in a park where Lauren used to hang out growing up as part of my 'Creatives series.

'Creatives' Dean Rogers

This is fellow photographer Dean Rogers, part of my 'Creatives' series about amazing creative individuals.

He's photographed campaigns for Paul Smith, Adidas & Puma. He also shoots for Directors Shane Meadows and Anton Corbjin and contibutes to iD and Twin Magazines just to name a few.

Leonore Wheatley 'Creatives'

Leonore Wheatley is an incredibly talented singer and musician in 'The Soundcarriers', Jim Noir's band and others. 'The Independent' described her voice as "utterly beguilling"

Vicky McClure 'Creatives'

In December last year the very talented Actress Vicky McClure and I had lots of tea and chats before heading outside in the snow to shoot these images as part of my 'Creatives' project. 

Vicky is best known for her amazing performances in Shane Meadows 'This is England' & 'This is England 86' for which she has won awards and well deserved recognition.

She is definitely destined for great things...

These were shot near where Vicky grew up in Nottingham.

Jon Burgerman 'Creatives'

One day towards the end of last year I had a fun shoot with Artist/'Doodler' Jon Burgerman. 

He has earned himself a huge following for his work and it can be seen everywhere from galleries and books, to trainers toys and wallpaper, amongst many other things.

I think the U.K. maybe got a little small for his huge talent and we've lost him (for now) to the Big Apple.

I hope I've managed to capture some of his personality and his love of yellow things in these portraits.

Alex Godwin 'Creatives'

This is Alex Godwin, the 2nd person I shot for my 'Creatives' project.

Alex (aka Billy) is an incredibly talented illustrator/painter/animator and works on anything from paper to huge murals that wrap around buildings.

We shot these in Nottingham just before she left for London after living there for several years. It therefore felt apt to have the city as a backdrop.
